Here is an update of what has happened over the past few days here in Nago.
Saturday, Masaki's school had a Matsuri held at the school (Matsuri : summer festival).

Masaki got to fish, and he caught a big one! (it had candy inside). Usually, at Matsuri, there are booths with real goldfish, and you fish for them with a paddle with paper in the middle (it's hard...but is possible to win). You get to take home whatever you can catch!
Then the kids did presentations they had prepared. Each class came out and sang, danced, and one class played tiny Taiko drums.
Sunday evening, we had a Wii Game Night! Usually, Tim and Ayu teach a free English class/Bible study time, learning English worship songs or going through the Bible. But this past Sunday, we had a game night instead.
4 college girls that they met at the beach came over, and two high school students (one is Tim's English student) came to play games and hang out with us.
Monday was a day off, so we relaxed (late night playing games the night before!). Eder made a nice lunch for us all, and then after an afternoon nap, the Ruiz came to visit us!
Everyone else at the Bible college is camping and helping out at a youth camp. So Tommy, Joanna, and Asa came to eat dinner with us, and chill at the beach.

They found a Ghost Crab, in the dark too! These guys are always looking for some creature to catch on the beach.
We recently bought a new camera while in the states, and for how good a price we got it for, we are continually surprised by how well it takes pictures. It zoomed this close to the moon, enough to see texture in the craters! Thank You God for a good camera!
Right now, we are studying Japanese as much as we can. Tim is sitting down with us to teach us grammar, and have us practice our reading and understanding. We don't know how busy we will be in the future, so we want to take advantage of this extra free time while we wait for God to give us work to do.
Please pray for our Japanese, we want to learn it and pick it up as well and as fast as we can. It helps so much to be able to speak with our friends in their own language.
Thank you all and God Bless
E & M Diaz
