It's the new year! Hard to believe it's already 2012. Didn't feel like that was a number we would ever live in when we were kids growing up!
So many things happened this past year, including getting married, seeing members of our families come to follow Jesus, moving to Nago, and getting our first home. Thinking back on all that and how blessed we are, we wonder just what will God do in our lives THIS year. How great is it going to be!
There are no pictures to post, just getting into the swing of normal things after the holidays. English classes have been great, and serving here at the church too. We are still growing in our Japanese, and growing in our love for the Lord. God has really been blessing both of us in studying, and in leading worship. He is growing us as teachers of His Word, and as His worshipers.
Here are our prayer requests we ask you guys to lift up:
-Continual growth in God's Word and in our relationships with Him.
-Vision for the ministry
-Boldness and Guidance to step out in faith daily
-Passion/desire to keep studying the Japanese language, and for God to give us the ability to learn it.
-Wisdom in our finances.
-Our health.
-Our relationships with the people around us and in our lives. (specifically our English students, and the lady at the bakery next door to us).
